Koalas, wildlife, and drivers trying to avoid them are in danger daily. Yet experts in road ecology and engineering tell us it’s super achievable to build a land bridge for wildlife and reconnect vital habitats. Gecko Environment Council advocates for a wildlife overpass as a separate and prior project to the proposed Light Rail Stage 4.
Timing is key as construction will only further threaten local koalas. Add your voice to ask that QLD Govt and City of Gold Coast Council urgently build an overpass to protect wild life!
