🌿 Winter 2025 School Holiday Programs – Thank You! 🌿

Our EcoDiscoverers Winter School Holiday Programs were a wonderful success — and completely free, thanks to the generous support of the Neumann Benevolent Foundation.

Set along the beautiful Currumbin Creek, children aged 6–12 explored mangrove ecosystems, tracked waterway journeys as River Rangers, discovered the urban superpowers of bats, and deepened their connection to nature through citizen science, storytelling, and nature journaling. These immersive outdoor adventures sparked curiosity, critical thinking, and environmental action — all under the guidance of our experienced, Blue Card–certified educators.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Neumann Benevolent Foundation for opening these opportunities to all children in our community. And thank you to all the families who made these programs so memorable — one muddy boot and bat fact at a time!

Please note: Gecko Environment Education will not be running school holiday programs during the September holidays.

Holly & Mason came along to Funky Fish and Adventure Trail. They said they loved seeing all the baby fish, playing our chasing games and doing craft at the end of the program. They can not wait to come back again to become explorers.
