Gecko Talks March speaker is Adrian Nathaniel, a licensed financial advisor who champions the conscious creation of wealth in this world through values-based, ethical and responsible investment.
He is passionate about the environment, community values and building a conscious economy. He is a member of Gecko, the Ethical Advisers Co-Op and the Responsible Investment Association Australasia and has recently published a book on conscious wealth creation, entitled The Yoga of Wealth.
As consumers, we have a unique power to guide the marketplace based on the choices of what products and services we purchase and where we place our value. We have a choice to buy from companies that commit to Fair Trade practices, ecological consciousness and ethical responsibility.
Holding companies accountable for their resource extraction, for their treatment of workers and for their environmental impact is definitely one way to instigate a shift in the approach these companies take.
