Meetings
Gecko holds meetings regularly in Gecko Hall, Gecko House from 6.30pm. The meeting is combined with a social occasion where members and friends share food, laughs and environmental updates. All interested persons and fellow environmental groups are welcome to join us. Email Gecko Office for the date of the next meeting.
Annual General Meeting.
The Gecko AGM is usually held around October each year. Held at Gecko House starting from 6:30PM all are welcome to celebrate with the new committee. Email Gecko Office for the date.
Campaigns Team
Our highly experience and very busy Campaigns Team meet fortnightly on a Friday morning and all members interested in being part of this rewarding group are invited to attend. The team is a collaboration between people keen to preserve the environment and if you would like to be involved please contact the Gecko office for further information, or consult the Gecko events calendar.
Gecko Climate Action Network – GCAN
Evolving out of the Climate Change for Good Conference, the GCAN Team are working on individual or group projects focused on climate change solutions, and meet to exchange ideas and support each others campaigns or projects. The group meets monthly or bi-monthly on a Monday evening and everyone with an interest in climate change issues and mitigation solutions is invited to attend. Other Team Meetings.
Regular meetings are held for our other Teams in areas of Communications, Grants and Fundraising, Education, Events, Administration and Bushcare and we welcome all members to become involved. Not a Gecko member yet? Not a problem, talk to our Office Team and find out how you can easily become a Gecko Member and actively participate in shaping and caring for our environment, wildlife, urban spaces and quality of life.
