What are you wearing? If you don’t know where it was made, what it’s made from or where it will end up, take it off!
Following on from the successful Undress Runways sustainable fashion event in Surfers Paradise on 26th April, Edda Hamar will be returning to the Gold Coast to shed light on some of the murky facts that the fashion industry would prefer to keep in the closet; from the massive carbon, water and waste footprints of clothing, to the sweatshop labour conditions endured by most garment factory workers.
Edda will be encouraging us to take a hard look at what we’re wearing and showing how we can all dress sustainably and ethically, without compromising on style. All are welcome to come along and take inspiration from the sustainable collections featured in the recent runway show. Please note the new venue for this guest speaker presentation.
