Local ambassadors Lauren Hodge, Ella Horton, Ryan Adams and Naomi Edwards are joining forces to lead more groups to raise awareness about beach litter and marine debris issues along one of Australia’s most priced stretches of sand and to get their hands dirty cleaning up the beach as they stride it out.
“You don’t have to run. You can crawl, hop, skip or jump while picking up beach litter and marine debris”, said Ryan Adams, a local ambassador for the national Responsible Runners initiative.
“We provide all equipment at the clean ups, which is also a great way to meet people and talk about how we can all keep our beaches clean”.
