River Rangers

River Rangers

Journey from mountain to sea

Join an exciting new GECKO adventure program for 7-14 year-olds. River Rangers will explore Currumbin Creek over 3 days, rock hopping at the Cougals, learning bushcraft and discovering river life, and building rafts at the creek mouth.

This 3-day immersion in nature is packed with opportunities to make friends, expand knowledge about local river habitats, play ecological games, and get a bit wild.

We’ll send kids home with positive experiences and rewilding practices for them to use beyond the program.

On the final day (December 22nd) kids will be asked to invite an adult ally to join us for the last hour of the program so they can share their experiences.

Why: Make friends, connect with the river ecosystem, have an adventure, learn bush skills
