Eco-explorers
Come Eco-Exploring with Gecko during the end of year school holidays!
Every Monday and Wednesday during the December-January school holidays, teams of young Eco-Explorers will be going out into the field, exploring nature and finding out how to live more sustainably. The program, developed by GeckoEd as part of the Catchment to Coast (C2C) environmental education project, will be led by GeckoEd trained environmental educators.

We’ve planned some exciting sessions for young people. They include: Extraordinary Estuaries, Colourful Catchments, Magical Mangroves, Dynamic Dunes, Tremendous Trees and Amazing Animals. Through games, creative arts, and nature-based activities, we’ll share our feelings and learn how to make a difference caring for our country.

Children must wear hats; wear closed shoes that can get wet; and bring a bottle of water. Sunscreen and insect repellant are advised. Parents are welcome to be involved, and their attendance is essential for any additional children under five years old.
Bookings are essential. Email eco-explorers@gecko.org.au or phone Skye Patch on 0466 412 952. Also speak to Skye re group bookings of 10 or more.
Costs are very reasonable and will be provided upon your request.
