Nature Surveys
Nature surveys are conducted by Gecko’s Walk with Wildlife (WwW) group, formerly the Tallebudgera Natural History Association .
WwW is essentially a natural history group that keeps records of Birds, Fauna, Insects/ Arachnids and Vegetation seen in areas in which the group takes nature survey walks.
There are also special Elanora Wetlands Survey Walks which take place every fortnight on a Tuesday morning (see Elanora Wetlands Surveys Fact Sheet). Â Suggestions for other survey sites are welcome at any time.
Additionally, the WwW group coordinates the award-winning Elanora Wetlands Bushcare Group and other activities such as bushwalking, “walk & gawk”, occasional bus tours, social dinners, and BBQs.
