General Meetings

Gecko holds a General Meeting on the second Wednesday of every month, from 6:30pm at Gecko House, 139 Duringan St, Currumbin.

All are welcome to attend. See General Meetings for more information.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is usually held around September each year.

Sub-committee meetings

Meeting at least once a month, currently active sub-committees include:

• Grants
• Campaigns
• Educators
• Events

Such teams usually meet on a Friday morning at Gecko House.

Guest Speaker Nights

Gecko holds a Guest Speaker Night on the fourth Wednesday of (almost) every month, from 6:30pm at Gecko House, 139 Duringan St, Currumbin.

Management Committee Meetings

Gecko’s Management Committee meets at Gecko House on the fourth Wednesday of every month, before the Guest Speaker.

Meeting of Member Groups

Another meeting is held on the first Saturday of the month when community groups from around the city come together to discuss issues of mutual concern. Some 10-20 smaller groups belong to this Meeting of Member Groups and work very effectively together with Gecko volunteers’ support to resolve local issues.
