Jack Johnson Village Green Stall – Brisbane Riverstage Concert, December 13th 2010
A BIG THANK YOU! To everyone who donated for the tickets, to those who donated on the evening and to Jack who is matching our funds raised – totaling just over $2,000.00 – Nice one!!!
With everyone arriving in possession of their ‘Village Green Passport’ we met lots of concert goers, providing us with plenty of signatures on our petition requesting to raise protection for Koalas, gold coin donations in return for a Gecko sticker, as well as raising awareness on what Gecko is all about, including details on how to join and a form for new subscribers, for residents in Brisbane, Gold Coast, as well as those from further away places.
Last but definitely not least, our volunteers were lucky enough to meet Jack prior to the concert and he even sent us this photo as proof!
