Annual General Meeting (AGM)

On October 13, 6:30pm at Gecko House, it will be time for Gecko’s 2010 Annual General Meeting and the election of your Management Committee for the year ahead.

Fresh minds on the Committee each year are a must.

As a Committee member, you will be expected to attend our General Meetings (2nd Wednesday each month, 6:30pm) and our Management Committee meetings (4th Wednesday each month, 5pm). Meeting times may be adjusted to suit the needs of Committee members.

You will be expected to be a current Gecko member, have a sound knowledge of Gecko’s activities, a passion for the environment, and a willingness to actively contribute to Gecko’s Mission.

Have you ever considered what would happen if no-one came forward to be on the Committee? What would the Gold Coast be like if there was no Gecko? Would it matter?

The Committee is a great way to be a part of the environment community on the Gold Coast, make good friends, and improve your skills.
