Eco-Explorers April Holidays Sessions

Eco-Explorers’ sessions are $10 per child.

We have Creek Craziness on 4th April 10-12 noon,

We will also be doing Amazing Estuary Animals on 5th April 10-12 noon,

These holidays we will be introducing a new program Sensational Spiders, 9-11a.m.

Incredible Insects will be run on 10th April, 9-11a.m.

All programs will start from Gecko House at 139 Duringan Street, Currumbin, 5534 1412 or 0498 588 855.

Amazing Estuaries – 8th Jan

Kids come on an amazing estuary walk and learn what an estuary is, what amazing animals live there and listen to a story about Stevie the stingray, play some fun games and cool activities like sand sculptures and what’s good and bad for the Estuaries Ecosystem. So come and join us for a fun and educational time.

Water Wonders – 9th Jan

Come and learn about the water cycle, take a walk to the creek and test the quality of the water. Make some boats from leaves and watch them sail under the foot bridge to see how the current flows. Have a look at some cool wiggly microorganisms under the magnifying glass. So come and join us for a morning of wonderful water fun.

Magical Mangroves – 10th Jan

Come on a mystical magical journey of discovery of mangroves. Learn what mangroves are, what they do and why we need them. Hear all about the Fiddler Crabs that live there in a great story. Rediscover what an estuary is and play some fun games and activities.

Beautiful Bugs – 15th Jan

Come and discover the amazing world of bugs. Learn which bugs live where and why. Discover their homes and learn the importance of trees and bark and why they call it home. Identify bugs and come on an insane insect treasure hunt and listen to a story all about Harry who lives in one of the trees.

Searching for shorebirds – 17th Jan

Always wanted to know what type of shorebird is that? And what do they eat? Come and join in the fun of searching and learning about shorebirds. Discover why beak size and shape matters with a fun lolly game and hear all about Cory the Cormorant and where they live. Come on an amazing Eco-Explorers adventure and you will discover the amazing life of shorebirds.

Shorebirds Adventure
